LINKFETE · linkfete.com · Last updated 5 November 2026

This policy explains what personal data Linkfete collects at linkfete.com and in the Linkfete app, why, and what choices you have.

By creating an account, signing in or otherwise continuing to use Linkfete, you confirm that you have read this policy. Where the law requires your consent, such as for analytics and marketing cookies, we ask for it separately and you can withdraw it at any time.

What we collect

  • Couples: email address, name, sign-in details, wedding details, uploaded photos and text, and order and payment records.
  • Guests: names, party size, RSVP answers, wishes, and phone numbers or other contact details that the couple adds.
  • Check-in: arrival time and entrance for guests who are scanned or searched by the couple's crew.
  • Technical: device and browser information, IP address and request logs for security and troubleshooting.

Why we use it

To run the invitation, send sign-in and service emails, process orders, prevent abuse, and improve the product. Guest data is used on behalf of the couple who invited them.

Cookies and analytics

Essential cookies are always on. Analytics and marketing cookies stay off until you choose them in the cookie banner; your choice is stored in a first-party cookie (linkfete_consent, shared between linkfete.com and the couple's app at app.linkfete.com) and you can change it any time through "Cookie settings" in the footer.

If you accept Analytics, we use Google Analytics (Google Tag) on linkfete.com and on the couple's screens of the app (sign-in, dashboard, editor, billing). It records which pages you open, which buttons you click and whether you sign in, create or publish an invitation, with your IP address anonymised. We never use it on invitation pages that guests open, or in the crew check-in app. If you decline, Google receives no analytics cookies and no identifiers from us.

The "Powered by Linkfete", Terms and Privacy links at the bottom of an invitation open this site with a source label (for example utm_source=invitation and the invitation's theme) so we can see which designs bring visitors. The label never contains the couple's names or the invitation's address.

Service providers and other third parties

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with the providers below, and only as far as needed for the purpose given:

  • Cloudflare: hosting, content delivery, security, and storage of uploaded pictures and files.
  • Email delivery provider (such as Resend, or an SMTP service we configure): sends sign-in links, receipts and service notices to your email address.
  • Payment providers (such as Midtrans or Xendit, or a bank transfer): process your payment. They receive what they need to take it, such as your name, email and the amount; we do not store card numbers.
  • Google: Google Analytics, only if you accept Analytics (see above). A guest who taps "Add to calendar" is sent to Google Calendar by their own choice.
  • YouTube and Vimeo: a couple can add a video. It loads from the video provider only after a guest presses play, and YouTube is loaded in its privacy-enhanced mode.
  • WhatsApp (Meta): couples send invitation links from their own WhatsApp. We do not read those chats. Meta's own terms apply to messages sent there.
  • Advertising platforms (such as Meta and TikTok): only if you accept Marketing cookies and we run ads, to tell us whether an ad led to a sign-up.

Some of these providers keep data on servers outside Indonesia. We choose providers with appropriate safeguards and share only what is needed. We may also share data when the law requires it, or to protect people from abuse.

Invitations made by couples

Each invitation is made and published by the couple who owns it, who decides what it says and which pictures, names and details it shows. We store and show that content for them, and we handle guest answers on their behalf. To keep the service safe, our staff can see invitations and guest lists when needed to help the couple, answer a report of abuse, or follow the law, and every such access is recorded.

Retention

We keep data while the invitation is active and for a limited period afterwards. Couples can ask us to delete their invitation and guest data.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent, in line with Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (UU PDP). Guests should first contact the couple who invited them; you can also write to privacy@linkfete.com.

Security

We use access controls, encryption of sensitive values and limited-time crew access. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password.
